Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyBotBin (the "Service"), including our web application and Chrome browser extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

MyBotBin is a productivity tool that allows users to save, organize, search, and launch AI assistants from various platforms. The Service consists of:

  • A web application for managing your AI assistant library
  • A Chrome browser extension for saving assistants directly from AI platforms
  • Cloud synchronization between devices

The Service stores URLs, names, descriptions, and organizational data (folders, tags) that you provide. We do not access, read, or store the content of your conversations with AI assistants.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using your email address or by signing in through Google OAuth or GitHub OAuth. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Free Plan

The free plan allows you to save up to 10 AI assistants. All core features are included at no cost.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan costs $7/month and provides unlimited assistant storage along with additional features. Payment is processed monthly.

Billing

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
  • We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Store or share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by MyBotBin and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our written permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service (assistant URLs, names, descriptions, folders, tags). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Third-Party Content

The AI assistants you save are hosted by third-party platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). We do not own or control these platforms, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms of service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension is provided as an optional component of the Service. By installing the extension, you agree that:

  • The extension will only access page content when you explicitly trigger it
  • We may update the extension periodically to improve functionality or security
  • You can uninstall the extension at any time without affecting your account

The extension's use is also subject to the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
  • Emergency repairs or updates
  • Factors beyond our control (internet outages, third-party service disruptions)

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service unavailability.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYBOTBIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Actions of third-party AI platforms

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyBotBin, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you submit to the Service

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyBotBin regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
